アメディオ・モディリアーニの風景画

モディリアーニは　初期に彫刻１９点の作品(1910～14)を残していますが、代表作の殆どが油彩の肖像画と裸婦像(1917～)です。小説の参考にと材料を探す折　偶然外国のサイトで大変珍しい彼の風景画３点を発見しましたので此処に紹介します。

● Modigliani's entire career was really a lifelong inquiry
into the human figure.
With the exception of four landscapes painted early in his career during a trip to the South of France -by the artist's own admission, "the work of a novice"- the human likeness is the only motif that really commanded his attention.
